Penthouse

High timber-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and a tower above the rooftops give this three-bedroom penthouse its character. In Málaga’s historic centre, the home unfolds across three levels, with room to come together and places to retreat. Along the street-facing side, the open kitchen with an island flows into the dining and living areas. Tall balcony doors bring in daylight, while the exposed roof structure gives the space a sense of height and scale. A separate hallway runs alongside, connecting the different parts of the home. Close to the entrance, a glazed gallery wraps around an inner courtyard, with dining and seating areas. Its glass panels open to the patio, offering a sheltered place to sit with fresh air and light. The courtyard also brings daylight into the adjoining rooms. The main level has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including one en-suite bedroom, together with a generous walk-in dressing room and a separate laundry. An internal staircase leads to an intermediate room, currently arranged as an office and equally suited to a reading or playroom. A further flight reaches the tower: a sitting room with windows on all sides and views across Málaga’s rooftops towards the cathedral. A place to pause above the city. Set on the fourth floor of a building with a lift, the property has the shops, restaurants and everyday life of the historic centre at its doorstep.
