Solkystmegleren is launching a new golf concept on the Costa del Sol. The dream of a home in the sun, golf experiences and personal golf coaching are coming together in one offer, and we are now inviting golf clubs and golf societies to work with us.
We are building the concept together with Magnus Brovold, our golf property specialist on the Costa del Sol. The aim is to make it easier to combine golf with holidays, coaching and perhaps the dream of a home of your own in Spain.
“We want to make it easier for golfers to enjoy everything the Costa del Sol has to offer. For some, it is about finding the dream home close to their favourite course. For others, it is about coming here with their club, improving their game or playing new courses with friends. We see great potential in bringing all of this together in one concept,” says Pål Anders Faugstadmo of Solkystmegleren.
From the golf course to your dream home
Magnus Brovold has more than 20 years in golf and runs golf and mental coaching through MB Golf & Coaching on the Costa del Sol. As a junior he played competitive golf at a high level and was part of the Norwegian junior national team.
With us, he helps golfers find the right property, whether that is a holiday home, a permanent home or an investment where golf is an important part of life.
A key part of the offer is viewing trips with golf: you view properties and play a round together, while Magnus guides you and gives tips along the way. The trip can be tailored to individuals, couples, families and groups, and the price is agreed individually.
“Golf is about more than the game itself. It is also about the people, the community, travel and quality of life. I am looking forward to combining my experience from golf with the property market on the Costa del Sol and helping more people find what they are looking for,” says Magnus Brovold.
Find homes near the golf courses on the map
Our website has new search features. You can search more than 9,000 properties along the Costa del Sol, and the map search shows you where they are. That makes it easy to find the ones close to the golf courses and the areas you like best.
For golfers, location can be decisive. Some want to live right on the course, while others prefer being a short drive from several courses, the beach, restaurants and town life. We want to work with golf clubs
We would like to hear from golf clubs and golf societies to build long-term partnerships. The aim is to offer clubs and their members tailor-made experiences on the Costa del Sol, including:
- Golf trips to Spain for individuals, groups of friends and club groups.
- Golf coaching with Magnus Brovold through MB Golf & Coaching.
- Golf tournaments and social events on the Costa del Sol.
- Viewing trips with golf, combining property viewings with a round and coaching.
- Personal property advice for golfers thinking about a holiday home or moving to Spain.
The concept will be developed further together with the clubs, so that the offer is of real value to both the club and its members.
From your first golf trip to a home of your own
The Costa del Sol is a popular destination for golfers, with many courses, a pleasant climate and a wide choice of homes and leisure activities. We combine our local knowledge of the property market with Magnus's experience from golf. Over time, we want to build a concept where golfers get help with both golf and property, from the first golf trip to a possible purchase.
